Cairns Taipans vs Perth Wildcats Prediction Round 4, October 10th 2025

Friday night NBL action heats up in Round 4 of the NBL26 season as the Cairns Taipans host the Perth Wildcats at the Cairns Convention Centre.

The Taipans will be out to redeem themselves after a disappointing 79–110 home loss to the Adelaide 36ers last weekend. Defence was an issue in that game, and coach Adam Forde will be demanding a stronger effort on their home floor.

The Wildcats, meanwhile, are coming off a hard-fought 92–84 comeback win over the Illawarra Hawks. Star import Mason Jones is still finding his feet in the defensive orientated NBL and it will be interesting to see how he goes in the softer matchup.

Here is a Cairns Taipans vs Perth Wildcats Prediction for Friday October 10th 2025.

Prediction

The Perth Wildcats found some form against the Hawks last week and will fancy their chances against a Taipans outfit that looked well out of sorts in their last outing.

The last three clashes between these two sides have produced a combined game total average of 199 points, and if coach John Rillie gets his way with the tempo, expect plenty of scoring action. The Wildcats should prove too strong here and could take control in what shapes as a high-scoring Friday night contest.

Prediction – Perth Wildcats (Win)

Prediction – Game Total Over 177.5 Points
