The Opening Night of the 2019/2020 NBA Season has lost a little bit of interest with number one draft pick Zion Williamson out with a knee injury. He is expected to miss a few weeks and it will be interesting to see how a new look Pelicans outfit goes after the Anthony Davis trade last year.
The Raptors are also without their best player in Kawhi Leonard and it will be interesting to see how they go this season after losing such an important ingredient to last years championship-winning team.
With big changes to both sides, it is difficult to go off the pre-season form of both sides as it will take time to adapt.
The Pelicans were involved in a lot of high scoring contests last season as underdogs and this trend may continue with the game total expected to go over.
The Raptors should win this match at home, but expect Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball to have decent matches as they will be trying to impress in their first game for their new side. The Raptors will be expecting big things from Pascal Siakam and he may be a decent player to look at in fantasy competitions.

Both sides made big changes in the offseason and the Lakers went all in to get the NBA’s best big man in Anthony Davis.
The Lakers and the Clippers have a massive rivalry, but not a lot of the key players have ever really been apart of it.
Expect coach Doc Rivers of the Clippers to bring it defensively as he now has one of the best defenders in the NBA, in Kawhi Leonard at his arsenal.
It will be awesome to see Lebron and Davis of the Lakers, take on Kawhi and George of the Clippers. The Clippers were good last season despite a lot of changes to their roster and have the best big-game player in the NBA.
Expect some defence in this game and the Game Total is favoured to go under the number.
The Lakers will win a lot of games this year, but the Clippers might just be good enough to pinch the first encounter.
