Tuesday Night NBL Action for Round 8 of NBL22 and the South East Melbourne Phoenix will host the Cairns Taipans at the Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium.
The Phoenix are coming off an impressive win against the Tasmania Jackjumpers and will be looking to get a string of victories together.
It seems like it has been ages since we saw the Cairns Taipans in action, and this is their first clash since New Year’s Eve.
The Taipans have only played one game in the last five weeks and have not been in action for almost a month. They were in pretty good form before most of their games got cancelled.
Many of the teams that have come back from an extended break have struggled early in games, and it will be interesting to see how the Taipans go in this one.

The Phoenix will be tough at home, but it wouldn’t be at all surprising if the Taipans stick around for an extended period in this match.
