Why the Giants Can Win
After a relatively easy win against the Cats in Round 1 the Giants will come into this game full of confidence, with no real injury concerns apart from Champion Midfielder Tim Taranto.
The Giants welcome back Callan Ward for this Round 2 encounter and have a stack of talent in all positions on the field.
Gun Forward Toby Greene kicked 4 Goals in the Giants last win and if he keeps up that sort of form they will be tough to beat. The Giants make it difficult for all sides with supreme ball use and reasonable structure, and will be heavy favourites in this game.
Why the Kangaroos Can Win
The Kangaroos came from behind for the win in Round One against the Saints and showed some promise.
They have a secure key forward in Ben Brown and some midfielders who can find the footy. If their gun midfielders can intimidate the Giants, they may be a small chance in this match.
Prediction
The Giants are a far too talented outfit and should take care of the Kangaroos here.
Our Tip – GWS Giants (Win)

Why the Swans Can Win
The Swans got the win in Round 1 against the Crows, but the Crows were smashed tonight in their clash against Port Adelaide. Can we read much into that? The Crows may be struggling to get used to a new game plan and coach.
Sydney does have a talented top end of players and the likes of Luke Parker, Josh Kennedy and Issac Heeney provide the Swans with a lot of run and midfield strength. They do lack a little bit of depth and goalkicking power, but if their better players, play well they are always a chance.
Why the Bombers Can Win
After a Round 1 win against the Dockers, the Bombers come into this match with three massive inclusions to help with depth on their list. Dyson Heppell, Cale Hooker and Shaun McKernan will provide a lot of firepower and be prominent inclusions for this match.
The Bombers also have some great midfielders and sneaky small forwards that know how to kick goals. This will prove handy on the smaller SCG surface, and the Bombers can win this match.
Prediction
The Swans have not been very consistent on their home ground in recent seasons, and the Bombers will be tough to beat. The Swans also have 3 of their better goalkickers out through injury. This match should be close and the toughest to pick for the round.
Our Tip – Essendon (Win)
St Kilda vs Western Bulldogs

Western Bulldogs – 3 Wins

Western Bulldogs – $1.65
Why the Bulldogs Can Win
After the second round after a long break, it has shown that clubs coming off a loss have had a long time to think about it. The Cats and Suns both bounced back with big wins, and that trend may continue here after Collingwood smashed the Bulldogs in Round 1.
The Bulldogs are a talented side and have one of the best midfielders in the Comp in Marcus Bontempelli, who is a proven match-winner.
Former Saint Josh Bruce will also be out to impress against his old side.
The Bulldogs will be tough to beat if their key players are firing and confident. Easton Wood out with injury and Lachie Hunter suspended does hurt though.
Why the Saints Can Win
After a narrow loss against the Kangaroos, the Saints will be ready to make up for the small loss and add key defender Jake Carlisle to the lineup.
They recruited well in the offseason, and the addition of fast-paced midfielder Brad Hill will be a welcoming addition the Saints middle.
The Saints defeated the Bulldogs by 27 Points late last season on the back of 4 Goals from small forward Jack Lonie. They have the talent and depth to win this match.
Prediction
A bounce back after a huge loss is a regular occurrence for better sides during an AFL Season and that trend may continue here, although the Saints will be no pushover here.
