Round 9 of 2020 AFL Season kicks off on a Wednesday with the Western Bulldogs taking on the Richmond Tigers at Metricon Stadium over on the Gold Coast.
A decent Round 8 of Football with the Power still holding on to top spot despite a loss to St Kilda. The Saints are now in the top four for the first time in an extended period.
We also have a new flag favourite with the West Coast Eagles now being heavy favourites with the advantage of now probably not having to leave their home ground for a decent stint.

The Bulldogs managed to defeat the in-form Gold Coast suns last Thursday Night by 5 points.
An Undermanned Tigers team wasn’t quite good enough against Toby Greene and the GWS Giants. Greene booted 5 Goals, and the Giants won the match by 12 points last Friday Night.
A couple of changes for the Bulldogs before this match with the Bulldogs losing Callum Porter through injury and Lachie Young being omitted. Goal sneak Sam Lloyd comes into the team along with Tough Mid, Toby McLean.
For the Tigers, they get back their captain Trent Cotchin as well as Oleg Markov, Jack Ross and Sydney Stack. Nick Vlastuin is out through injury and Jack Graham, Daniel Rioli and Patrick Naish have all been omitted.
Current Head to Head Odds
Western Bulldogs – $1.80
Richmond – $2.05
Prediction
This is a tough game to pick with both sides being in pretty decent form over the last few rounds.
The Bulldogs looked average at stages last week against the Suns but still managed a victory. The Tigers lost to the Giants, and better sides usually are pretty good at bouncing back from losses.
Nick Vlastuin from the Tigers is a significant loss down back, but the Dogs don’t have any in-form forwards to be too concerned about.
The Bulldogs throw in average performances at stages and can be outplayed when they don’t bring their A-Game.
Richmond has looked good at implementing a game plan, and the addition of Trent Cotchin is a bonus as well be the dry conditions. If their big forwards can finally find some form, they will be tough to beat.
Our Pick – Richmond (Win)
Player Prop – Jack Higgins – 1+ Goals
Higgins is clever around goals and will spend less time in the middle this week with captain Trent Cotchin back. Should get a stack of chances to crumb a goal in this one.
