Last Round

Geelong were too good for the Saints in their Round 11 clash and won the match by 59 Points at the Gabba.

Port Adelaide are coming off a huge win over Richmond in which they won the match by 21 points on the back of some stellar performances from some of their more experienced campaigners.

A couple of changes for both sides for this clash with the Cats leaving Jack Steven and Brad Close out of the side. Lachie Fogarty and Sam Simpson both come back into the team.

For the Power, Jarrod Liernert and Cam Sutcliffe have been omitted, while Sam Mayes and Steven Motlop come back into the team.

Current Head to Head Odds

Geelong – $2.15

Port Adelaide – $1.71

Prediction

Four-day breaks have not been friendly to sides since the AFL Schedule got reshuffled and that trend may continue here with the Cats on a short break. They played well against the Saints and are playing good football, but it is hard to see a side backing it up after such a short break.

The Power have been impressive this season and are the ladder leaders for a reason. Their young guns are playing good football, and Charlie Dixon has been the best marking forward all year.

If the Cats had a couple of extra days off, it would be easier to lean towards them, but the ladder leaders are the more fancied favourite for this clash.

Our Pick – Port Adelaide (Win)

Player Prop – Brandon Parfitt + 65.5 Fantasy Points

Geelong likes to control the football, and Parfitt may get a bit of a run in the middle for this clash. Racked up 69 Points last game and has a season average of 72. Should be near this number even if he has a quieter match.
