Friday Night Football, Round 10
The closing game of round 10 of the 2020 AFL Season and we have a Friday Night Football Clash between the Essendon Bombers and the GWS Giants at Metricon Stadium.
A couple of close Thursday Encounters saw the Magpies defeat the Swans, and the Saints had their hands full against the Suns for a four-point win.

The Bombers were outclassed by the Lions by 63 Points last round and will be looking to get back the form that had them winning games of football earlier this year.
The Giants were too good for the Suns and won the match by 26 points on the back of solid games from their in-form midfield.
The Bombers have made four changes for this clash with Brayden Ham, Ned Cahill and Martin Gleeson all getting the chop. Tom Bellchambers has been managed for this one. They welcome back Matt Guelfi, Kyle Langford, Conor McKenna and Shaun McKernan.
For the Giants, a few big outs with Toby Greene out through injury and Tagger Matt de Boer also out with an injury. Ruckman Sam Jacobs is also injured.
Shane Mumford gets another crack at league football and will be the Giants ruckman for the night. Midfielder Callan Ward also comes into the team, and Xavier O’Halloran will make is AFL Debut.

Prediction
A shorter break for the Giants, but five days will probably still be enough for them to recover and put in another good show. Their midfield is starting to get their hands on the football first at stoppages, and they are beginning to use the footy well. Toby Greene is a big out, but they are a talented outfit and should have no trouble finding scorers.
This is a dangerous game as although the Bombers are out of form, they will need the win and do occasionally turn around bad form quickly, and can surprise. The Giants midfield should be too strong in this clash, and they should win the match.
