An undermanned Miami Heat tried hard in Game two but was no match for the Lakers and went down in the game, 124 -114. Anthony Davis was solid with 32 Points and 14 Rebounds, and Lebron James almost had another triple-double with 33 points, 9 rebounds and 9 Assists. Jimmy Butler had a big game for the Heat and racked up 25 points, 8 rebounds and 13 assists.

Series So Far

Game 2, LA Lakers 124 – Miami Heat 114

Game 1, LA Lakers 116 – Miami Heat 98

Current Head to Head Odds

Los Angeles Lakers – $1.21

Miami Heat – $4.45

Prediction

The Miami Heat are still expected to be without Goran Dragic and Bam Adebayo for this clash, and that means a lack of defence and another potential higher scoring clash. If the Heat is to get back into the series they will need to win this clash as coming back from three games in an NBA Finals series is highly unlikely.

The Lakers are playing good basketball, and are doing a great job of taking advantage of the fact that the Miami Heat big centre is not out there. Expect Jimmy Butler and the Heat to have a real crack in this game, but Lebron and Davis are just playing to well to see them winning the match.

Our Pick – Los Angeles Lakers (Win)

Game Total – Over 219.5

The Heat is lacking some key defenders, and the Game Total went way over in game two with a total over 238. The Heat will need to hold the Lakers to a lower score to be any chance of winning, but with so many players on the court that have not played a lot this season, buckets will be easy to leak.

Player Props

Player Prop – Alex Caruso + 6.5 Points

Danny Green is questionable for this match and Caruso is averaging 23.9 minutes per game throughout the playoffs. The Lakers like to use him for a spark off the bench and he averages 6.8 points per game this playoffs. Should get plenty chances to push double figure points in this one.
