Indiana Pacers 0 @ Boston Celtics 1
Prediction – Boston by over 7.5 Points
The Pacers have been out of form for the latter part of the season and seem to really lack a scoring option without Victor Oladipo.
The Trend here is that the Pacers only cover the spread 39.3% of the time when they are an away underdog.
Game One was low scoring and the Celtics probably won’t shoot that poorly in Game Two. Boston for a decent win looks pretty good.
Players Props
Darren Collison + 11.5 Points
Collison only scored 6 Points in Game One and the Pacers will need somebody to step up. He does average 11.2 Points per game for the season.
Collison has averaged up to 16 Points Per Game in Previous seasons and put up 11 shots in Game One. Expect him to go close to the number in this game.
Thaddeus Young + 5.5 Rebounds
Young had just the 4 Rebounds in Game One but averaged 7.3 Against the Celtics this season. He also averaged 7.7 in last years playoffs.
Expect a better effort on the Glass for the Pacers Power Forward.
Al Horford + 6.5 Rebounds
This number seems very low given that Horford grabbed 11 Rebounds in Game One and does perform well in this Statistical Category in the Playoffs. There is really nobody on the Celtics roster that averages a significant amount of Boards and Horford should get a lot of chances in this game.
He averaged 8.3 in last years playoffs campaign.
Marcus Morris + 11.5 Points
Morris scored 20 in a low scoring contest in Game one and averaged 15.6 against the Pacers this season. Expect him to get used on the offensive end on many occasions and have chances to score buckets to cover the number.
Detroit Pistons 0 @ Milwaukee Bucks 1
Prediction – Game Total Over 214.5
The Bucks were very good in Game One and dominated the Contest. Both these sides have a combined season average of 221, and Head to Head over the last 5 has averaged 213.
The Game Total has come down 5 points from game one and if the Bucks get to dictate the pace it should go over. Milwaukee should win the game and go two games up.
Player Props
Eric Bledsoe + 16.5 Points
Bledsoe scored 15 points on just the 9 shot attempts in Game One. Giannis will get a lot of attention and double teamed on numerous occasions. This will help open Bledsoe up for some jump shots. He has averaged 20.5 against the Pistons this season
Giannis Antetokounmpo – 29.5 Points
Giannis only played the 24 Minutes in Game One and a similar thing could happen here. He scored the 24 Points in Game One and if the game is a blowout 29.5 Points is a lot to cover.
Has only just averaged over 20 points per game against the Pistons this season in 4 encounters.
Utah Jazz 0 @ Houston Rockets 1
Prediction -214.5
Utah + 6.5
Utah games tend to be lower scoring when they are the underdog side. More pressure defensively creates less scoring chances and this game is likely to go under the number.
Utah covers the spread 68% of the time after a loss but they are facing an in-form Rockets Outfit. It is hard to see the Jazz putting up such a poor effort in Game 2.
Player Props
Joe Ingles + 11.5 Points
Ingles only had the 3 points in Game one and put up just the 4 Shots. He was good in last years finals and will need to be one of the players to step up if they are any chance in game 2. He averaged 14.5 Points in last years playoffs campaign.
Ricky Rubio + 5.5 Assists
Rubio played 31 minutes in Game 1 and the Jazz look to be trusting him as the Point Guard right now. He averaged 7 assists in last years playoffs and much like the other Jazz players will need to step up in Game Two.
The Jazz will put up a better effort and expect Rubio to go close to double digits for assists.
James Harden – 7.5 Rebounds
Expect Harden to fill up the Stats Sheet but if there is a statistical category he has struggled with in the playoffs it is rebounding. The Rockets big men will crash the Boards and Rudy Gobert will get a heap.
Harden has only averaged the 5.3 Rebounds in last years finals and 6.6 this regular season.
PJ Tucker + 7.5 Points
PJ Tucker + 3.5 Rebounds
Tucker averaged 8.9 Points and 6.5 Rebounds in the playoffs last year. He Played 32 minutes in Game One and scored 11 Points.
He seems to get used more in the Finals and gets open in the corner for a baseline 3 Point shot. Expect him to go close to these numbers again.
