Prediction

The JackJumpers got the better of the Hawks in Round 12 and were 22/42, at 52% from the three-point line in that win. Illawarra hung around for the majority of that contest, but if any side hits that many three-point shots in one match, they will always be tough to beat.

The Hawks are beginning to play some decent basketball and need this win to keep their spot inside the top four.

Tasmania will be tough to beat at home, but the Hawks are the more talented outfit and are every chance to get the win here.

Prediction

This is shaping up as a Sunday Blockbuster and both sides are coming off recent losses.

Melbourne have been the better side this season, and have been playing elite defence for the majority of the year.

They have a bit of an advantage in the front court, with both Jo Lual-Acuil and Ariel Hukporti in good recent form.

Phoenix big man, Zhou Qi will need to step up, as he did when they met earlier in the season.

Melbourne will want to further strengthen their top spot on the table with a win, and are clearly the better side on paper.
