Our Picks

Matt Kuchar

Current Odds – Matt Kuchar $41

After missing the cut last week, Kuchar will be out to make up for a poor performance.

Kuchar finished second in this event last year and has one of the better short games on the PGA Tour which comes in handy when he is not hitting the ball well.

If he gets some consistent ball striking going and remains in play off the tee, he should be a chance. Three Top 10 finishes in this event in the last five years, means he plays well in this event and is a decent chance to continue that trend.

Bryson DeChambeau

Current Odds – $17

A couple of Top 10 Finishes in this event in previous years and Bryson was in some decent form last week with a Top 5 Finish and just the one stroke back from winner Daniel Berger.

DeChambeau is hitting the ball well and was the third rated for Greens in Regulation for the Charles Schwab Challenge last week. Short Odds, but this guy can light it up and should be there at the concluding stages on Sunday.

Jason Kokrak

Current Odds – $81

A surprise last week, Kokrak played well for a Top 10 finish and can occasionally turn it on. Had an excellent finish in this event last year and will be out for an excellent finish again. His confidence must be up because he drove the ball well last week, putted well and hit a lot of greens.

Should be a real chance this week and there is a lot to like about Kokrak.

Xander Schauffele

Current Odds – $21

The best ball-striker last week hitting 80.6% of greens and if he sorts his putting out and continues to hit the ball at such a high level, he could be a real contender on the back nine on Sunday. A solid golfer and a great putter, Xander is a fancied favourite to do some damage this week.

Roughie

J.T. Poston

Current Odds – $101

Our Roughie from last week, Poston finished in the Top 10 at the Charles Schwab Challenge, and we are going to back him again because of his putting. Was one of the more accurate guys off the tee last week with 73.2% Driving Accuracy and if he keeps that up and continues to hole putts he will be thereabouts again. Had a good finish in this event last season with a Top 10 Finish.
