West Coast vs Collingwood, Finals Prediction

The second final for AFL Saturday and we have the West Coast Eagles taking on the Collingwood Magpies at the Optus Stadium in Perth.

The Eagles come into this clash as favourites and did take care of the Magpies quite comfortably in their clash earlier in the season in Round 8.

Prediction

The Eagles are one of the best sides in the AFL when they are at home, and the Pies have their work cut out for them in this clash. West Coast has a good record against the Pies in recent seasons and should get the job done at home in this clash.

The Pies do have some experienced players and will be competitive, but the players coming into the side for the Eagles will go a long way to winning this one.  Eagles to get it done at home and advance to the second week of the finals.

Our Pick – West Coast (Win)

Player Props

Player Prop – Shannon Hurn + 60.5 Fantasy Points

Hurn is an experienced finals campaigner and comes up against a Collingwood side that concedes the second most fantasy points to opposition defenders this season. He takes the majority of the Eagles kick-ins, and is averaging 84 Fantasy Points over his last three matches.

Player Prop – Adam Treloar + 80.5 Fantasy Points

Treloar had a poor game the last time he came up against the Eagles with just the 68 fantasy points. Has no trouble winning the football and has a season average of 88. Should be near this number if even if he gets a tag.
