The Magpies are in a bit of a slump at the moment and lost their match to the Demons last week by 56 Points.

The Kangaroos showed fight against the Brisbane side and only lost the match by a single point.

The Magpies made five changes after their disappointing effort form last week. Brody Mihocek is injured along with Ben Reid. Callum Brown, Lynden Dunn and Rupert Willis have all been omitted. Mason Cox comes back into the team, along with Chris Mayne, Jordan Roughhead, Levi Greenwood and Flynn Appleby.

For the Kangaroos, Will Walker goes out with an injury, and Sam Durdin has been dropped. Robbie Tarrant is a significant in for the North Melbourne team, and Paul Ahern gets another shot at senior football.

Current Head to Head Odds

Collingwood – $1.37

North Melbourne – $3.10

Prediction

The Kangaroos have disappointed us this season when tipping them, but it is hard to get excited about the Magpies for this clash. The Roos won last years encounter by 44 Points and were pretty good against a fancied Lions outfit in Round 12.

Both sides have struggled to put points on the board this season, and the addition of Jordan Roughead to the Collingwood defence will make it tougher for the Kangaroos. If the Pies can use their strength which is their midfield, they should win this clash. Going to stick with the Pies because they are the better side and need the win to put pressure on a final eight finish.

Our Pick – Collingwood (Win)

Player Prop – Shaun Atley + 59.5 Fantasy Points

Has been ok over the last couple of week and averaged 70 Points from the backline. Collingwood gives up the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing backs this year, and he should get some cheap disposals on the back half to pad those stats.
