We have five big games for NBA on Christmas Day for 2019.
It starts in Canada with the Raptors taking on the Celtics. Then we head to Philly to watch the Bucks take on the 76ers. The Warriors will be out to earn some respect as they host the Rockets. The Lakers and Clippers fight it out in LA and the Pelicans travel to Denver to take on the Nuggets.

Boston Celtics @ Toronto Raptors
Prediction – Boston Celtics (– 2.5)
Game Total – Over 213.5

The Boston Celtics travel to Toronto and are pretty good against the spread when favourites this season. The Celtics are 12-6 against the spread when the favourites and will make it tough for the injury-plagued Toronto Raptors.
With the Raptors missing Siakam, Gasol and Powell it will make it tough and put a lot of pressure on Kyle Lowry and Ibaka will have to step up. Expect the Raptors to put up a fight, but they have some injury concerns and the Celtics should cover.
The Home side has won the last 12 contests between these two sides so that may help the Raptors in this game, but it’s hard to see the Celtics dropping this one.
Milwaukee Bucks @ Philadelphia 76ers
Prediction – Philadelphia 76ers (+ 2.5)
Game Total – Over 220.5

The in-form Bucks travel to Philadelphia to take on the 76ers and will make it tough for them. The away side has won 7 out of the last 12 between these two sides, and the last 2.
Eric Bledsoe is out for the Bucks and this will give the Sixers an advantage in the guard spots. If the Sixers can semi stop Giannis and Embiid gets going, they should win here. Ben Simmons will also be willing to show off his skills to his critics on the big stage.
This game will more than likely be close and the two-point head start to the home 76ers may be the go. The Game Total has also gone over the number 4 out of 5 times when the 76ers are the Underdogs.
Houston Rockets @ Golden State Warriors
Prediction – Golden State (+ 10.5)
Game Total – (Don’t Touch)
Fantasy Pick – James Harden
The Warriors reserves will get a lot of minutes and will be out to earn a little bit of respect back on the big stage. Stopping Harden and Westbrook will be tough, but a couple of Warriors in Burks and Russell are beginning to find some form.
This spread in this game is hard to pick and the Game Total is a coin toss. Houston should get the win.
Los Angeles Clippers @ Los Angeles Lakers
Prediction – Los Angeles Lakers (– 1.5)
Game Total – Under 222.5
Fantasy Pick – Paul George
This game will be highly dependent on the injuries to Lebron James, Anthony Davis and Kawhi Leonard.
They are all expected to play, so if that’s the case the Lakers should break a 3 game losing streak. If they all suit up, expect a little defence and the Game Total favoured to go under.
Hard to make predictions on this game with the injury concerns coming into it, but if the guns suit up the Lakers should have a slight edge.
New Orleans Pelicans @ Denver Nuggets
Prediction – New Orleans Pelicans (+ 10.5)
Game Total – Under 218 .5

The Nuggets host the Pelicans at home and should get it done on Christmas Day.
After a Pelicans win, the Game Total goes under 5 out of 7 times this season. The Game Total goes under 10 out of 16 times when the Nuggets are the Home Favourites.
The Nuggets should get it done here, although the Pelicans found some form in their last game against the Blazers and may stick around for an extended period.
