Quick Game Facts

  • The Phoenix have won 12 consecutive matches on a Sunday
  • The JackJumpers have been involved in some low scoring games this season. 7 of their past 8 games have gone under the projected game total
  • Tasmania is on a four game winning streak
  • The Phoenix have lost two consecutive matches at home
  • The Game Total average for the JackJumpers last 3 games away from their home court is 172 points

Quick Player Facts

  • Mitch Creek has had 3+ assists in 4 straight matches
  • Ryan Broekhoff is averaging 9 rebounds per game across his last 6 matches
  • Josh Adams has scored 15+ points in 8 of his 12 matches this season
  • Josh Magette has had 6+ assists in 4 of his past 5 matches
  • Clint Steindl is just 2/14 from the 3 point line at just 14%, in the JackJumpers past 4 wins
  • Jack McVeigh has stepped up recently. He has scored exactly 17 points in 3 straight matches

The Phoenix have lost a couple of games in a row and get a Tasmania side that is full of confidence.

South East Melbourne only shot the ball at 35% in their recent loss to the Kings, but were still in the contest right up until the end.

If the JackJumpers keep hitting threes as they have recently, they are always a chance, but coming up against a quality side that has had a couple of recent losses at home, will be a big ask.

The Sydney Kings are starting to find some form and will now have one of the best back courts in the NBL, with the addition of NBA Champion Ian Clark.

They are a solid rebounding team, and import Jaylen Adams is playing some good basketball right now.

Brisbane are again without guard Nathan Sobey and will need another huge game from Lamar Patterson if they are any chance in this clash.

Prediction – Sydney Kings (Win) ⭐⭐⭐
