Last Week
The Giants lost two Key Players before the bounce last week and another key player in the first quarter, and were outclassed by a Bulldogs team to lose by 24 points.
The Magpies have been in some good form and continued that with a solid showing against the Saints and a 44 Point Victory.
Why the Giants Can Win
The Giants have made four changes for this match and welcome back two of their best players in Josh Kelly and Toby Greene, who will be necessary at stoppages and up forward. The loss of three key players would have damaged the game plan of the Giants last week, and they will be looking to bounce back.
They are not playing good footy at the moment, but have played well against the Pies in recent times and come up against a Pies side that is yet to travel interstate this season.
Greene and Kelly are huge ins and give the Giants every chance in this game.
Why the Magpies Can Win
The Magpies are in some excellent form with veteran Steele Sidebottom leading the way last week with 31 Disposals. They have a reliable weapon in the Ruck in Brodie Grundy, and Big American Mason Cox comes into the team to provide some high marking power up forward.
They lost a narrow final against the Giants in the Prelim last year and could be out for revenge in this contest.
Prediction
A couple of Key Ins for the Giants and the Home Ground Advantage may be enough to get them over the line.
